The M’Hamid Desert Expedition 5 Days in the morning after breakfast in M’Hamid Elghizlane. First, you hike through the palm groves and desert tracks toward Sidi Najji. This historic and spiritual site is important to local nomads and houses a respected marabout. By late afternoon, the wild bivouac is set up for you. Choose between individual, double, or triple tents. A kitchen tent is also provided. Enjoy a traditional dinner and a magical evening around the fire under the starry Sahara sky.
Wake up to the sunrise and have breakfast at the bivouac. Then, continue your hiking day toward Erg Zahar, a majestic dune area known as “the Sea of Sand.” Upon arrival, the wild bivouac is prepared again. Dinner is served around the fire, accompanied by traditional music. This day offers a full experience of the desert’s beauty and the unique landscapes of Erg Zahar.
After breakfast, switch to 4x4 for a scenic drive across the dunes and desert tracks. Arrive at the spectacular Erg Chegaga dunes and settle in the wild bivouac for the night.
