Trek Rose Valley 5 days
Your adventure begins in Kelaat M’Gouna, where the muleteer team awaits. Start the trek along the Dadès Valley, famous for its many traditional kasbahs. In the afternoon, enjoy a short hike along the river flowing from M’Goun, surrounded by the foothills of the High Atlas. Overnight in a guesthouse near Talmout.
This stage is dedicated to discovering kasbahs blending perfectly into the red and ochre landscapes. Walk through Berber villages and witness the rhythm of daily life. Overnight in Aït Saïd village.
Morning ascent to Agouti with sweeping views of the Jebel Saghro to the south and the High Atlas to the north. In the afternoon, descend through the Qat gorges until you reach the fortified village of Rbat. Overnight near the village.
Cross the Jbel Tadaout and walk into the lush valley of Qat. Meet locals along the way – men returning from the souk, children playing in the streams, and women working in the fields. Arrive in Boutghrar in the evening. Overnight in a guesthouse or bivouac.
The trek continues through the impressive M’Goun gorges, sometimes walking with feet in the water – sandals recommended. Cross vast plateaus and the Jbel Riguit before reaching Aït Youl in the Dadès Valley. Picnic under oleander trees and finish the trek in the afternoon. Overnight in a guesthouse.
